About Charm

Charm is a lovely female to have in the kennel. Her calm and quiet nature along with her willingness to please is easy to live with. Friendly with other dogs and people she is a delight to own. Charm looks me straight in the eye along with her tilting of her head to acknowledge me. When out running free she has this lovely happy way of returning with something in her mouth for me, it could be a small stick, a leaf, piece of bark, a stone, she is so happy to present it to me.

From a handful of starts in retrieving trials she has a win and two placings to date. Charm has that – come on let’s do it attitude with her retrieving.

Being a cream female of near full breed height, Hips 3.4 = 7 and 0.0 Elbows. Her Breed DNA Analysis Report reads: Full Clear/Normal/Negative for all Genetic Diseases & Traits. In working weight and condition, she sets the scales at 32 kilograms.

Chops was in Jill’s last planned litter, unfortunately she never lived to see them
arrive.

Many people have asked how Chops got his pet name. In his litter there were four black males. I liked two of them, so I identified them by snipping a small area out of their coats on different parts of their bodies. The late John Stott said on seeing these chopped areas – ‘who chopped their coats?’, I owned up, and the pup I selected, what better name could you give him than CHOPS. No one forgets his name.
